Dr. Peng co-developed the model-data fusion approach, integrating the ecosys agroecosystem model with satellite observations, USDA statistics, and eddy covariance flux tower measurements to more accurately quantify carbon cycling in Midwestern croplands — supporting the SMARTFARM Project’s goal of field-scale carbon credit quantification.
